Lake Mohonk, NY- Located about two hours north of the city, Lake Mohonk is a perfect day getaway for those who want to spend some time outside in the crisp fall air. With a sprawling 70,000 acres wrapping around the Delaware River, this park is perfect for a picturesque hike along the river with a backdrop of vibrant fall colors. Afterwards, head over to nearby Stroudsburg to visit RAW Urban Winery and Hard Cidery to sample their wines and ciders.
