It’s time for Oktoberfest! Even though it’s name is
misleading, the actual Bavarian festival takes place September 16th-
Monday, October 2nd, 2017 in Munich, Germany. You may not be able to
make it all the way to Germany to celebrate, but you can definitely make it to
one of the many events taking place near The New Village. Check out some of the
events below happening around Patchogue over the next few weeks.
Oktoberfest at Pine Grove Inn- Pay a visit to the Pine Grove
Inn in East Patchogue to celebrate its 1st annual Oktoberfest event!
Taking place September 29-October 1st from 3pm to 9pm, The Pine
Grove Inn will be celebrating with authentic German fare, German brews like Hefeweizen,
German music and entertainment. Grab your friends and head over for free
admission to this event.
Oktoberfest at The Moriches Rotary Club- As an ode to the
Bavarian celebration, The Rotary Club of the Moriches is hosting it’s 9th
annual Oktoberfest celebration at Camp Pa Qua Tuck. The event will take place
September 29-October 1 and will feature a traditional German beer garden and
carnival, as well as traditional German food, vendors, and live entertainment. Admission

Ode to Oktoberfest- Head over to Hotel Indigo Long
Island-East End in Riverhead for the Ode to Oktoberfest festival. The event
will take place Saturday, September 30th from 1pm-4pm and will
feature Warsteiner Platinum beer, live Polka musi, and traditional German fare
from Bistro 72. Purchase your tickets in advance for $15 or at the door for
$20.
