The day after the Chinese New Year on Monday is Fat Tuesday, also known around the world as Mardi Gras and Carnivale! While the most famous celebrations take place in New Orleans and Brazil, Long Island has a few celebrations going on here as well that you can partake in. Mardi Gras is the perfect excuse to enjoy some good food and a few drinks! Bobbique located on East Main Street will celebrate the day with a special Fat Tuesday. Beginning at 5 pm there will be plenty of fun entertainment for the evening with live music by Jack Waterfall playing all night. There will also be themed favors to go around such as famous Mardi Gras beads and masks. A special menu will be served for the evening based upon all your favorite New Orleans style dishes.
