Looking to get out and about in Patchogue? New Village residents can stop by and join other local Long Island community members at Blue Point Brewing Company. Located on River Avenue this Brewery is practically in the backyard of New Village being only a 3 minute drive away or 15 minute walk.

 

Being Long Island’s first brewery, Blue Point has made a name for itself in Patchogue. When visiting you get three free samples of 5 oz glasses of the Blue Point beer of your choosing to try out. You can pick from their Toasted Larger, Pale Ale, IPA, Sour Cherry Stout and many others. Depending on when you go, there is always a specialty seasonal beer available so make sure to ask! After you try a few out in the tasting room, visitors can continue to purchase sample sizes for tasting, or then pick their favorite and purchase a pint. The brewery also offers tours around the whole complex so visitors get an idea and learn what exactly goes into the making of this local beer Long Islanders know and love. If you find a brew that you are finding it hard to part with, you can purchase half gallon jugs as you leave to take home.
  
During the warm weather months, there is also an outdoor seating area for everyone to get together, hangout, and enjoy some Blue Point beer.
