Two great events will be happening this weekend in Patchogue! Lucky for our New Village residents one will be happening during the day and the other in the evening, so if you are looking for fun Saturday activities to take part in, you can check out both!
Small Business Saturday will be taking place on November 28th this year. For the 5th year in a row, New Village and other Patchogue residents can come out to support the local community and small businesses during this holiday season. There are plenty to see if you are looking to just browse around, look for a treat for yourself, or so some shopping for the holiday season.
The event will take place from 12pm-6pm on Main Street. Patchogue will also be having a photo scavenger hunt where you have the chance to win a gift basket. For more information or to register, you can contact the Patchogue theatre. Contact information is provided here.
With Thanksgiving over, Christmas is now right around the corner. New Village residents can celebrate the holiday season with the rest of Patchogue by taking part in Patchogue’s 53rd Annual Christmas Parade! Taking place Saturday November 28th, the parade will make it’s way through the village for all to see and enjoy.
The parade will make it’s way down Main Street starting at West Avenue, and a kick off time of 6 pm. The theme of this years parade is March of the Wooden Soldiers. There will be matching bands, twirlers, carolers, antique cars, fire trucks, & floats making their way east on Main Street for all of Patchogue to see. Also during the parade postal workers will be walking around collecting letters to Santa from kids. All you need is to put your letter in a self addressed and stamped envelope and they guarantee you will receive a response from Santa!
Patchogue is in the spirit this season and we're looking forward to a jolly December!
