Do you
love food, wine, and a good cause? Wednesday August 12th the
Patchogue Arts Council will host An
Evening of Food and Wine—A Celebration of the Culinary Arts from 6 pm
through 10pm. The fundraiser taking place here in Patchogue at 89 North Ocean
Avenue will stage an evening to celebrate the culinary arts! If you are into
culture, cuisine and art or just casually enjoy some food and wine this is a
great event that ensures to bring a fun evening and also help a cause.
During
the event you will be able to try different samples of food from some of
Patchogue’s favorite local restaurants. Participating
restaurants providing samples for the evening of their delish cuisine include
Bella Vino, That Meatball Place, Main Street Café, Bobbique, Hoshi Hibachi,
BrickHouse Brewery, Del Fuego Tex Mex, The Tap Room and many more!
There
will also be an arrangement of over 30 types of wine to taste as well as craft
beer to enjoy. From the lower bar some
wine selections you can expect to find are Sauvignon Gris 2014, South Australia Sauvignon Blanc
2013, New Zealand Chardonnay 2013,
Argentina
Cabernet 2012, Maule Valley Chile
Sauvignon Blanc 2014, multiple selections from Voss Vineyards, Napa Pinot
Noir 2013, Russian River Valley Zinfandel 2012 along with many others. Some
upper bar selections for you to enjoy include Bogle Vineyards Chardonnay 2013, Chenin
Blanc Viognier 2014, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Riesling, and Pinot Gris from Pine Ridge Vineyards on Long
Island, Sardinia Pinot Grigio 2014 and that’s not even half! You can find a

Relish
in all the great food and wine while you listen to live music for the evening. Leah
Kay, Bret Dessing and Mike Costello of The Brother Pluckers, and The Growlers featuring
Leah Kay, Jim Fleming, Jim Fontana and Brian Vance will be performing
throughout the evening.

All
proceeds from this event will benefit Patchogue Arts Council and enable them to
host PAC MAC Festival 2015 and the Restaurant Community Fund.
