August is a great time to be a resident of the town of
Patchogue, with so many events and activities taking place right outside your
door! Take in the last full month of the summer by enjoying some of these local
events taking place near the New Village.
Outdoor Movie on the Village Green – Haven’t had a chance to
enjoy the outdoor movie series at the New Village? The good news is it’s not
too late! New Village will be premiering a few movies this month, kicking off
with a showing of Tarzan on August 5th and Coco on August 17th. Each showing will begin at approximately 7:45
pm. Make sure to bring a blanket, chair and snacks!
Alive After Five – If you’ve missed the last few dates of
Alive After Five on Main Street, you’ll have your last chance to take in the
2018 festivities on August 16th. As the last installment of the
recurring summer festival, you’ll get to experience live music and
entertainment, shop at over 90 craft and retail stands, and sample food from
more than 11 food trucks and nearby restaurants! Check out the site below for

Island to Table Event- The popular “Island to Table” outdoor
dining experience returns to Patchogue for it’s third consecutive year! The
event, which brings together top chefs for a 5-course foodie fundraiser, will
take place this year on Sunday, August 26th at Michael E. Reilly
Memorial Park in Patchogue. The event raises over $10,000 each year for the
homegrown challenge, a local sustainability and educational group that
introduces young people to gardening. Tickets are $150 each For more
