Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania - Although many New York City residents may choose the Catskills or Adirondacks for their weekend getaways come winter, the Pocono Mountains, just two hours outside of the city, is home to a variety of nature activities, winter sports, and homey lodges and spas that make it a perfect destination for your weekend travels.
