Saint Patrick's Day in Patchogue

St. Patrick’s Day is almost upon us- do you know how you’ll be celebrating this year? Although the holiday falls on Friday, March 17th, there will be plenty of events happening in the greater Patchogue area for you to join in on, many of which are just a few blocks away from the New Village. 

St. Patrick’s Day at Arooga’s- You don’t have to travel very far to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Arooga’s Grille and Sports Bar. Just steps away from the New Village, Arooga’s will be hosting a St. Patty’s Day bash this Friday, March 17th from 9pm-2am.  There will be no cover and live music starts at 9pm. Drink specials will be featured all night. 

Fulton’s Gate- If you’re looking to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a pint of Guinness and a traditional Irish meal, then head over to Fulton’s Gate, a traditional Irish pub in the heart of Patchogue village.  Just minutes away from New Village, Fulton’s Gate offers classic favorites like Shepherd’s Pie, Dublin-style Fish and Chips, and Corned Beef on Marbled Rye. If you prefer to stop in for Sunday Brunch, you can enjoy a Traditional Irish Breakfast, Pub Omelet, and homemade Quiche starting at $7.99.

Patchogue’s St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl- Too busy to make it out this weekend? No worries! The town of Patchogue is hosting it’s 1st Annual St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl on Saturday, May 25th from 2pm-8pm. The event will feature $3 beers, $4 shots, and $5 specialty drinks at participating locations, which include: The Tap Room, Village Idiot Pub, Gallo, Public House 49, and Fulton’s Gate Irish Pub. Tickets are $25 and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the MoRE organization, which helps send terminally ill children to camp.
