September is a great time to take advantage of some the
local events happening in the greater Patchogue area. Check out some of the
events and festivals featured below for some early Fall fun.
Patchogue’s 8th Annual Italian Festival of St.
Liberata,
September 24th
The Annual Italian Festival
of St. Liberata will be returning to Main Street in Patchogue for its eight
year on Saturday, September 24th. The festival, which is sponsored
by the Greater Patchogue Foundation, Inc. Culture Heritage Committee, will
feature a number of Italian food vendors with treats like fresh calzones,
sausage and peppers, and zeppoles, just to name a few. You can also participate
in bocce ball tournaments, Italian karaoke, and festival games. Stop by for
some good eats and for a good time!
29th Annual Saint James Day
September 25th
Come spend a day in St. James to celebrate the 29th
Annual St. James Day, taking place on Sunday, September 25th, along
Lake Avenue in town. Starting at 11:00am, the festival will feature over 300
vendors housing a number of handmade items, unique crafts and jewelry. A number
of food trucks and vendors will also be on premises.
Cedar Beach Blues Festival
October 1st -2nd
Though the event may no longer take place on Cedar Beach,
the Cedar Beach Blues Festival is going strong in in 26th year! Now
relocated to the Long Island Maritime Museum in West Sayville, the events runs two
days and features bands, art, and much more. To check out the music line up and
