Tulip Festival Close by to Patchogue

One of the best parts of April is the warm weather and seeing all the wonderful colors of nature as flowers start to take bloom around Patchogue. In celebration of one of the best parts of spring, New Village of Patchogue residents can join other local Long Island neighbors by attending the annual Tulip Festival in Huntington!

This annual event will take place on May 1st for the 16th consecutive year. The festival will take place at Hecksher park in Huntington where beds upon beds of beautiful bright and radiant tulips will be bloomed for all to see. There will be several performances and live musical entertainment during the festival. Booths will also be set up throughout the park where New Village residents will have the chance to participate in several hands on activities--many tulip and spring themed!  Contests will also be taking place throughout the day including a photography contest and art contest.

Get ready to dance as the live music featured at the Tulip Festival was announced just days ago! As New Village residents walk around admiring the thousands of tulips in all colors, listen to the rhythmic musical stylings of Louise Rogers who will do an interactive jazz performance, steelpianist Rudi Chirchlow who will get members on their dancing feet and Janice Buckner one of the country’s top children’s performers.
