Celebrating Saint Patrick's Day in Patchogue

St. Patrick’s Day is here and there are parades taking place all over Long Island the next few weeks. Here at New Village of Patchogue our residents can tap into their Irish roots or just pretend to be Irish for the day at a number of fun events happening in our area. New Village residents are lucky enough to have their own parade taking place right here in Patchogue! There are also many other parades this year happening close by to Patchogue, with most less than a half hour from New Village.
Break out your best green attire and join other local residents at one of the biggest St. Patrick’s Day events on Long Island! Patchogue’s 21st annual St. Patrick’s Day parade will take place on Saturday March 19th. Starting on East Main Street the parade will make its way through town concluding at West Avenue. There will be a ton of local organizations and groups marching in celebration including twirlers, pipe bands, fire trucks, dancers and floats. To add to all the excitement, the Patchogue 5K run and walk will start just 5 minutes before the parade. You can find out more about both the parade and run here.

Immediately following the parade you can continue the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations at The Emporium. They will have a live DJ and plenty of beer and other drink specials throughout the rest of the day. Their website has all the information about the after party.

  1. I love celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. Last year we arranged a party at one of Chicago event venues after enjoying the parade. Had invited all my dear ones for the big celebration. Everyone had a lovely time and thanked me to throw an awesome party.
