Halloween is just a few days away and if you are still looking for some holiday plans Patchogue has many events going on not too far from New Village.

New Village residents don’t have to travel far to celebrate this October. New Village at Patchogue will host the 2nd Annual Halloween Celebration Friday October 30th. Starting at 7PM make your way downstairs, in costume, and see what your fellow residents and neighbors are being for Halloween! Maybe you can even get some last minute ideas for your Halloween Saturday evening plans. There will be a costume contest with the best three costumes taking home prizes. There will also be a DJ playing your favorite Halloween music to get you in the All Hallows Eve spirit, plenty of food and more! The event will be taking place at the clubhouse so make sure to stop by.

Right here in Patchogue you can also enjoy Halloween activities at Woodside Nursery. The forecast Saturday is looking to be a perfect fall day, terrific for outdoor activities! Their haunted tunnel includes more then 300 feet of indoor haunted attractions with special effects, props, music and more. There is also a bounce house for children, face painting, and full size scarecrow making. You can learn more about the activities on their website.

What better way to spend Halloween then wandering around mazes, abandoned rooms and exploring a haunted house? Just 20 minutes away from New Village, Hauppauge will host Chamber of Horrors through Halloween weekend! Chamber of Horrors features three main haunted house attractions which the event calls the Trilogy of Fears. The attractions this year are Maniac Manor, Toxic City and Witch Asylum. There are several different ticket options to choose from which you can take a look at here.

There are many other events in the local Long Island area not far from Patchogue where you can celebrate with scary and festive activities. If you want to know more about all the spooky happenings you can look and learn more here.
