Celebrate Mardi Gras Right Here in Patchogue

Many of us have hit that winter slump,  hiding indoors and pining for the warm weather. It's time to come out of hibernation! With Mardi Gras this week, what better excuse to get out and join in on exciting local activities? Whether you’re looking to go out to the bar for a drink, or just enjoy some Cajun cuisine, New Village at Patchogue is close to some of the most popular Long Island destinations. A local favorite, Bobbique,  is hosting a Fat Tuesday Party right here in Patchogue.  Typically a restaurant serving Memphis-style cuisine, the chef switches it's menu to serve traditional New Orleans meals at this annual event. Not only is there great food that you normally wouldn't find in Patchogue, but there’s music and festivities as well!

Jack's Waterfall is the featured musical guest, accompanied by The Easy Street Band and also featuring special guest Kerry Kearney. Food will include Catfish, Gumbo, Etouffe and crawfish to name a few, all of which is inspired by New Orleans cooking. Dinner reservations are highly suggested as tables are usually filled to capacity all night.
The event starts at 8PM, but you can order from their Fat Tuesday menu starting at 5:30PM. Perfect for our commuter residents! If you’re just interested in the drinks there’s always room to squeeze in at the bar to try their special Abita beer. Music starts at 8PM with a $5.00 admission. To make reservations you can call them at 631-447-7744. You can also visit their website here to learn more information. Don’t miss out on one of the most talked about Mardi Gras events in Patchogue!
