NYE Resolutions - Get in Shape at the New Village at Patchogue

Every January a lot of us make New Year's resolutions to get in shape, but doesn't it always seem so hard to stick to your healthy plan? Not at New Village at Patchogue! Half the battle of getting a workout in is getting to the gym; at NVP, the gym is right here!

Our fully equipped fitness center has both cardio and weight lifting machines to give you the fully-rounded workout you're looking for. Because it's our own private fitness center, you'll always have a clean, non-crowded haven to get some exercise in. Below is a heart-pumping treadmill workout you can try at our gym to keep you on track for 2015. Whenever you get bored of a certain exercise, change it up!

Treadmill Routine
5 minutes walking warm up at 2.5-3.5mph
1 minute fast jog with elongated strides at 4-7mph
3 minutes walk at 5% incline at 3-3.5mph
1 minute fast jog at 5% incline at 4-7mph
3 minutes walk at 8% incline at 3-3.5mph
1 minute fast jog at 8% incline at 4-7mph
3 minutes walk at 10% incline at 3-3.5 mph
1 minute fast jog at 10% incline at 4-7mph
5 minutes cool down at 1% incline at 3-3.5mph
