Valentine's Day Ideas For Everyone in Patchogue

In a week, we get to celebrate love. Now, just to be clear, Valentine’s Day isn’t about romantic love alone. It’s about the love you can have for anyone you deem worthy, such as your pets, friends, and, of course, family! It’s important to remind people of this fact, so that they don’t miss out on a beautiful day full of sincere sentiments.

A celebration of love can be a big or small affair, so naturally, it all depends on how you roll. While it’s perfectly cool to stay in for the holiday - after all, the coziness of home always a makes it a nice place to mark a special occasion – it’s also pretty sweet to get a little dressed up and celebrate in style. If the latter option is more of what you were thinking, you should definitely check out Le Soir.

Only 3 miles away from downtown Patchogue and the  New Village apartments, the French restaurant offers the perfect space for enjoying a dinner in honor of love. Located in Bayport on 825 Montauk Highway, Le Soir has a rather serious reputation in the area, as well as Long Island.  The establishment was even featured on Verizon’s FiOS1’s “Restaurant Hunter,” in March of 2013.

It serves up a whole lot of deliciousness ranging from Escargots Bourguignons (Baked Snails with Garlic Butter) to Filet de Sole Amandine ou Meuniere (Sauteed Filet of Sole with Almonds or Brown Butter with Parseley and Lemon), so there is always something on the menu for everyone. Obviously Le Soir is not a simple bar with finger foods and bottled beer, so the prices reflect this accordingly. Worry not, however, it’s still fairly affordable.

It’s also important to note that there is a dress code and you are expected to respect it. Since gift certificates are readily available, Le Soir is one of the nicest places to take your favorite people and celebrate a little love.
