With the start of December comes the start of the holiday
season in the town of Patchogue! With plenty of events to explore right outside
your door of the New Village and in the greater Patchogue area, you’ll be in
the holiday spirit all month long.
Holiday Vendor Fair at the Village Green – Taking place
right in your own backyard, New Village will be hosting its Holiday Vendor Fair
in the Club Room at New Village on Saturday December 8th from 10am –
4pm. Get your holiday shopping done early and visit the booths of over 15
different vendors offering handmaid artisan clothing, jewelry and other items.
Elf the Musical at John W. Engeman Theatre – You don’t have
to travel all the way into the city to enjoy a holiday musical! Plan a visit to
the Suffolk county town of Northport where the John W. Engeman theatre is
hosting productions of Elf the Musical, adapted from the holiday favorite movie
starring Will Ferrell. Productions are running now through December 30 and
tickets start at $73.
Holiday Light Show at Jones Beach- The “Magic of Lights”
holiday light show makes it’s return to Jones Beach State Park. Pay a visit to
see the beautiful 2.5-mile festive light exhibit set to the tunes of your
favorite holiday music. After you drive through the display, stroll the holiday
festival village and enjoy a cup of coffee or hot chocolate! You can even take
part in the festive hay maze, or take pictures with Santa. The light show will
take place from November 16 – December 30; hours are from dusk – 10pm Sunday
through Thursday, and dusk – 11pm Friday and Saturday. Vehicle passes are $20
if you purchase in advance online.
