What’s Happening in Patchogue This September


Patchogue is kicking off the Fall season with a number of events taking place in the coming weeks! Mark your calendars because you won’t want to miss the events below that are happening near the New Village.

Vetstock – On Saturday, September 15th, head over to Blue Point Brewery for Vetstock, a music festival to honor our nation’s veterans.  The event kicks off at 12pm and will feature a number of musical acts throughout the day. Brought to you by Project9Line, the event seeks to further the mission of the organization to support all veterans. For more information, check out the site below.

Patchogue River Clean Up – This month, you can have the opportunity to give back to your local Patchogue community. On Saturday, September 22nd, the Fire Island National Seashore organization is sponsoring the Third Annual Patchogue River Clean Up. The event will kick off at 10am at Watch Hill Ferry Terminal where you’ll learn important information about the day’s activities, clean-up locations, and where you’ll pick up your cleaning supplies. The event will run through 12pm.

Patchogue Mac-n-Cheese Challenge – In an effort to get the community involved in the aforementioned River Clean Up, the Fire Island National Seashore organization is hosting a Mac-n-Cheese Challenge at Drift 82 following the clean-up at 12pm.  The challenge will consist of 15 to 20 Patchogue restaurants, such as Toast, RHUM, Local, Tap Room, bringing their best to win the title of the best Mac-N-Cheese in Patchogue. The winner will be chosen by popular votes. Entry for the general public is $10, and just $5 for river clean-up volunteers. Each person will get to sample a 4oz. serving from each participating eatery.
