With all of the festivals taking place in Patchogue this
month, you don’t have to travel far to take part in the summer fun. Check out
the events below that are taking place near The New Village.
Long Island Bluegrass Festival – If you’re a fan of bluegrass
and country music, you won’t want to miss Long Island’s annual Bluegrass
Festival, taking place August 18th from 12pm to 7pm at Tanner Park
in Copiague. Returning for its 16th year, the Festival brings
together nationally-known Bluegrass artists, such as Della Mae, Michael Daves
and Friends, Putnam Smith and many more! Presale tickets cost $15 dollars, and
general admission at the event will be $20.
2018 Peach Festival at Harbes Farms – Head out to the East
End to celebrate the Long Island peach harvest at Harbes Farm! On August 18th
and 19th from 10am – 7pm, stop by the Farm to enjoy fresh peaches
and other local produce, as well as a variety of concession foods. a variety of
activities and entertainment. Watch peach-eating contests and enjoy live music

Long Island Seafood Festival- If you love seafood, you can’t
miss the 27th Annual Long Island Seafood Festival, taking place at
the Long Island Maritime Museum in West Sayville on Saturday August 25th
and Sunday, August 26th. From 11am – 6pm each day, you’ll get to celebrate by
sampling oysters, clams, and seafood from the local area. Enjoy live
entertainment and food from a number of local vendors. General admission is $10
per person.
