Join your friends at neighbors at Patchogue’s 15th
annual Alive After Five celebration on Main Street on Thursday, July 20th.
Celebrate summer at this free summer street fair that features six stages of
live music and entertainment, and a variety of craft, retail, and food vendors.
As you would’ve guessed, the party starts at 5pm and continues into the night.
The best part? It’s just steps away from your New Village apartment. And f you
can’t make it this Thursday, you can stop by on August 6th and
August 17th.
Live Music- Although there are a variety of reasons to
attend the Alive After Five party, one of the biggest draws to the event is the
live music showcase. With seven live band stages, you’ll see a variety of acts
ranging in musical genres from local artists. Performers at the July 20th
Alive After Five showcase include Carrie and The Cats, Northern State, The 60s
Invasion, among others.
Eats at the Event- While on Main Street at the event, be
sure to explore all of the delicious food options at the festival and on the
strip. There will be a variety of food truck cuisine served from local
businesses, such as Paco’s Grand Nachos, The Meetball Place, Rocky’s Soft Serve
and many others. You can also stop into one of your favorite local storefront
restaurants, like Rhum, Country Kitchen, and Parabell among others.
Shop Craft Vendors- If visiting the event, be sure to leave
some time for a little shopping! There will be over 90 different craft and
retail vendors at this year’s Alive After Five, which means you’re bound to
find something you love. From handmade jewelry and clothing, to artisan
fragrance, soap and candles, there will be a variety of vendors located on Main
Street for you to peruse.
