Next time you’re venturing into the greater Patchogue area for a bite to eat,

your new favorite restaurant!
Swell Taco- Although Swell Taco may not be new to Long
Island, its newest location has opened on East Main in Patchogue just a few
short weeks ago. This local chain (with
one other location in Babylon) offers casual Mexican cuisine at affordable
prices. Visitors love the Three Amigos taco platter, the San Clemente Burrito, and the fresh guacamole. The best part? It’s
only minutes away from your New Village apartment.
Drift 82- Drift 82, having only opened a few days ago, is by
far the newest restaurant to hit the streets of Patchogue. Taking over the
location of the previous “On the Waterfront” restaurant, Drift 82 sits at the
mouth of the Patchogue River, overlooking the waterfront. It’s fitting that
many of the dishes offered are seafood-based and coastal-inspired. Patrons love
the seared scallops, Tuna steak entrée, and oysters on the half shell.
Henley’s Village Tavern- Text time you’re craving homestyle
food and a beer, you should head over to Henley’s Village Tavern, the newest
gastropub to open on the South Shore. Located in Brightwaters, Henley’s offers
a contemporary tavern experience with gourmet bites and small-crafts brews. If
you’ll be paying a visit, be sure to try the Potato bombs and empanadas
appetizers, as well as the Nashville Chicken and steak sandwich.
