New Year's Eve in Patchogue

The holidays have past and New Years Eve is almost upon us! If you don’t want to travel all the way into New York City but are still contemplating plans, you should check out the scene in the greater Patchogue area. There are plenty of parties and open bar events to choose from.

Midnight on Main Street in Patchogue

Founded by the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce, Midnight on Main Street brings the fun and excitement of the ball drop in the city to the streets of Patchogue. The festivities will kick off on Saturday, Dec. 31st at 8pm, complete with a DJ for street dancing. While there, you can also enter in a raffle contest for a 50/50 drawing for the Clean Lakes in Patchogue effort. Stay for the ball drop, which takes place at 9pm, three hours earlier than midnight for the family-friendly nature of the event. After the ball drop, you can head over to one of the many bars and restaurants hosting parties in the village. For the complete list of events, click here.

90s New Year Eve at 89 North

If you love 90s music, then you have to check out the 90s New Years Eve Party at 89 North. Your first drink is on the house and with your admission ticket you will receive one free general admission ticket to a future show of your choice at 89 North. Hors d’oeuvres and goodies will be served throughout the night and you will also receive a champagne toast at midnight. Enjoy live music throughout the night playing your favorite songs from the 90s.

New Years Eve at View

If you consider yourself quite the foodie and look forward to the dining aspects of an event, then you should consider the New Years Eve Celebration taking place at the View in Oakdale. To ring in the New Year, View is offering a special three course prix-fixe menu complete with a variety of delicious options, such as Crispy Thai Calamari, Jumbo Lump Crab cakes, and Oysters Rockefeller for appetizer; Pan Roasted Diver Sea Scallops, Braised Short Ribs, Surf and Turf for entrée; and Crème Brulee, Chocolate Marquise, and Mixed Berry Cheesecake for dessert. If you’d like to participate in dinner alone, each pre-fixe meal is $64 from 4-7:30pm; however, if you’d like to be a part of the party with D music, dancing, party favors, and a midnight toast, dinner is $88 per person from 8-10pm.
