Mother’s Day Gifts and Activities

With Mother’s Day quickly approaching, it’s the perfect time to think about how you’ll spend your day with Mom, or to show her that you’re thinking of her. If your mother is nearby, there are plenty of events taking place in the greater Patchogue area to enjoy together. And even if she’s not close to the New Village, we have some gift ideas for you below.

Mother’s Day Brunch- For a truly special Mother’s Day, consider treating your mom to a Mother’s Day brunch at Lombardi’s on the Bay. Located in Patchogue overlooking the Great South Bay, Lombardi’s is hosting their annual Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet starting at 11:00am. Buffet stations include a breakfast and omelette presentation, a Tuscan antipasto table, hot gourmet buffet, and dessert station among others. The buffet includes wine, mimosas, and soft beverages. The event is $58 per adult, and $24 per child ages 3-10. Call the restaurant to reserve your spot in advance.

Flower Delivery- You can never go wrong with flowers on Mother’s Day. If your mom lives in the local area, consider ordering flowers from Mayer’s Flower Cottage,  a local florist offering a variety of special bouquets for the holiday. If you’d like to order flowers to be delivered outside of the local area, consider ordering through ProFlowers, who is currently offering a special promotion through Groupon.

Meal Delivery-  Does your mom enjoy cooking? If so, save her a trip to the grocery store this upcoming week, and gift her a week’s worth of meals from HelloFresh. HelloFresh is a weekly meal delivery service that provides pre-portioned ingredients and recipes that you pick out online. A $60 e-Giftcard that provides 3 meals for 2 people would make a great gift for your mom this Mother’s Day. Perhaps you and her can even cook one of the meals together!
